Alohas has overcome unspeakable battles but doesn't let it stop her or take away her compassion, kindness, bravery or positive outlook.
Thank you for generously supporting Aloha in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Spider Girl Anya Corazon (Earth 616) "Spider-Girl is my favorite because she never gives up, even when life gets hard. She is brave, protects others, and still chooses kindness after everything she has been through. She shows me that the strongest heroes have the biggest hearts." - Aloha
Aloha has always been drawn to heroes who are different, brave, and kind. She loves stories where someone faces something bigger than themselves and keeps going anyway. As she got older, superheroes became more than costumes and powers to her. She saw pieces of herself in them. They showed her that being different can be a strength, kindness can be powerful, and even the smallest person can be a hero.
Aloha says if she could choose any superpower, she would choose the power to heal. Not just cuts and broken bones, but hurting hearts, frightened minds, and anything that makes someone suffer. She knows what it feels like to fight battles others can't always see, and she wouldn't want anyone to fight alone. Her greatest power wouldn't be defeating the bad guys it would be helping people feel whole again.
