Her superpower is her heart, she’s fearlessly herself, fiercely kind, brave through every storm, and never letting the world dim her light.
Thank you for generously supporting Arianna in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Harley Quinn. Arianna admires that she’s bold, different, and unapologetically herself. She doesn’t fit the traditional idea of a hero, and that’s exactly what Arianna loves. She sees strength in being different, getting back up after hard times, and refusing to let anyone else decide who you should be. To Arianna, you don’t have to be perfect to be powerful. You just have to have the courage to be yourself.
Arianna’s love of superheroes grew from comics, movies, shows, and especially anime. She’s always connected with characters who are different, misunderstood, or underestimated but turn those differences into strength. She loves seeing someone face hard things, get back up, and stay true to who they are. I think she sees a little of herself in them, a reminder that being different can be your superpower.
If Arianna could have any superpower, she’d choose the ability to heal people, not just physically but emotionally too. She has a huge heart and feels things deeply, especially when someone she cares about is hurting. She’d want the power to take away someone’s pain, help them feel understood, and remind them they aren’t alone. To her, the strongest superpower would be leaving someone better than you found them.
