Iron man because Avery is much like him. He's very smart and creative and always using his intelligence for the greater good. Unlike other superheroes Iron Man doesn't have powers but instead uses his hard work, intelligence and determination to be a hero.
Avery has always loved super heroes talking him he brought up such a neat perspective he said superhero stories create worlds where problems have meaning and also where even ordinary people can become extraordinary. He also said they showed him him what true grit was, they face impossible situations but still always find a way to succeed.
Avery said fly because he could see amazing new places from the sky and he could explore the world from a completely different perspective.
