Aydin is a superhero because he cares for others (super kind), makes others laugh (the light), and he is also very smart (he is in Mensa).
Thank you for generously supporting Aydin in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Aydin’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man and he admires him because he juggles his own personal life with Aunt May (RIP) and MJ while saving and protecting his fellow New Yorkers from evil. Spider-Man is brave, kind, and intelligent, just like Aydin (without the spandex).
Aydin and his mom watched Marvel movies together from a young age. He was always interested in how the superheroes managed to find a way to save their community.
Aydin would love to have the power of the Force, as he is a big Star Wars fan, and therefore would be able to heal and protect others telekinetically.
