Bo’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man—especially Miles Morales! He loves that Spider-Man shoots webs, saves the day, and can run on buildings “like they’re the floor.” He admires heroes who are brave, help people, and still have fun doing it. He also loves Mega Man, whose awesome powers and adventures have helped inspire a superhero of Bo’s very own: MegaBowen!
It started at home. His Mom and his older brother introduced him to Spider-Man through movies, and then Bo discovered Miles Morales and was hooked. His older and younger sisters love Ghost-Spider Gwen, too. Mom and Dad's favorite is Spider Noir. So, Bowen's love grew through superhero comic books and movies, video games, and Mega Man. Now he’s taken that inspiration and put pencil to paper, drawing his own comic book starring a hero he created himself: MegaBowen!
Bo would want Spider-Man’s web-slinging powers! He says he’d shoot webs, climb buildings, stop villains, and “web up” the bullies. But lately his imagination has gone one step further: he’s creating MegaBowen, his own superhero inspired by the things he loves about Spider-Man and Mega Man. If Bo could choose a superpower, I think he’d rather invent his own! Maybe a web-slinging Mega Buster!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
