Brandon LOVES the hulk. Because he is on the spectrum he is aware that he is different yet smart and caring of everyone around him. But he has his days where he gets overwhelmed or upset and becomes a mini hulk lol. So I feel like he sees some of himself in the Hulk and he loves that can identify with the character.
His granddad or Pop Pop as they called him, passed away 8 years ago of lung cancer. Crazy thing about that time, my father used to call himself the Hulk because he was going through radiation and chemotherapy and that’s where my dad, like Brandon, identified with that character as well. So although Brandon was young when my dad passed, he still remembers that part of my dad.
