Brylee is obsessed with Spider-Man! Her bedroom is a constant reminder of how much she loves the character—from her Spider-Man rug to her Spider-Man AirPod case. But what she loves most about Spider-Man goes much deeper than the costume. She admires the diversity of the characters and especially loves the idea that “anyone can wear the mask.” She even dressed up as Silk for Halloween! To Brylee, being a superhero isn't about looking a certain way—it’s about having the courage to be yourself.
Ironically, Brylee’s love for superheroes began with Avengers: Endgame. Before that, her third-grade self thought superheroes were mostly “for boys.” But the moment she stepped into the theater, she fell in love—not just with the action, but with the personal stories, struggles, and strength of each hero. She went on to watch every Marvel movie in chronological order and eventually asked me to get her the comics!
Brylee would love to have the power of memory manipulation. She thinks this power could be used not only to change someone’s thoughts, but also to help turn negative thoughts into positive ones. She understands that a power like this could be dangerous in the wrong hands, but she believes that, when used with good intentions, it could help people who are struggling and even give “bad guys” a chance to change their ways.
