Cayden comes across as a superhero because of the way he shows courage, determination, helpfulness with himself and peers. Never gives up!
Thank you for generously supporting Cayden in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
My favorite superhero is Jo Shimoda! Yes he may not be Batman, Spider-Man, or the hulk but he is my superhero. As a young motocross rider, seeing Jo race at the highest level means a lot to me. He’s not just an amazing rider—he’s someone who represents the Asian community and shows that kids like me chase big dreams in motocross too. He’s breaking barriers, making history, and inspiring the next generation of Asian riders to believe that they belong on the starting gate like myself.
My love of two wheels and a dirt bike began when I first started learning how to ride at the age of 3. With that I started to search and watch which ride gave me the most inspiration. I look up to Jo because he’s showing me that anything is possible. Seeing a Japanese rider competing at the highest level inspires me to work harder, believe in myself, and keep chasing my own dreams on the dirt. Superhero may not come in a cape but Cayden felt like Jo flys when he is on his dirtbike.
My superpower would be never giving up! even when the track gets tough, I keep twisting the throttle and chasing my dream. Always having the champion mentality because as a little kid and chasing the big dream can mentally be exhausting so always keeping that mindset will help achieve much bigger goals in life
