“My favorite superhero is Wonder Woman, Mommy, because she’s strong and fights the bad guys!” Chloe has a soft spot for powerful women who show girls they can be strong, brave, and kind. She loves all superheroes because they protect others and have “really cool costumes!” But Chloe knows being a superhero isn’t just about having powers. To her, it means helping others whenever we can, standing up for people, and sometimes using our strengths to “fight the bad guys.” ;)
Chloe’s love for superheroes comes from her big imagination and her even bigger heart. As an adopted little girl who has experienced more in her young life than most kids, she has shown us so much resilience and strength. She loves superheroes because they remind her that being strong doesn’t mean you’re never scared. It means having the courage to step outside your comfort zone and try new things. She always tells us that, “Everyone is a superhero and we can do hard things.”
“I want to be magic and love everybody in the world.” If Chloe could have any superpower, she would choose the power to make people feel safe and loved. Chloe genuinely notices when someone is sad, left out, or needs a little extra love. After everything she has overcome in her young life, she knows how important it is to feel safe and cared for. She would use her superpower to make sure no one ever feels alone.
