He admires Spider-Man because, underneath the mask, he’s a normal, ordinary kid who uses his knowledge, courage, and abilities to help others. Colson really admires that Spider-Man helps the police take care of “the really bad guys AND the kind of bad guys, too!” Colson has a big heart and loves helping others. Even when circumstances are difficult, he will do everything in his power to help anyone who needs it, just like Spider-Man.
When Colson was born, he had a Spider-Man and Hulk obsessed, 2 year old big sister! We are just a whole Marvel family, so it has always just been part of his life. Our house is decorated with Marvel decor and Marvel Legos. All the movies and cartoons play on repeat and the top listened to album at our house is the "Across the Spider-verse" album. Dad was a huge fan growing up, and so he passed along his love of superheroes to his kids in the best way!
Colson wants to be a wall-crawler! He thinks being able to climb walls or crawl upside down on ceilings would be the coolest super power. He loves to be sneaky and says it would improve his ability to get the bad guys because they'd never expect him to be on the ceiling or walls!
