Connor loves his web shooters, Spider-Sense, climbing walls, swinging through the city, and his awesome suits. He admires Spider-Man because he never gives up, even when things get scary or difficult. Spider-Man uses his powers to help people, protect his friends and family, and fight bad guys. Connor thinks Spider-Man shows that anyone can be a hero by being brave and doing what’s right.
Connor’s love for superheroes is something that started with me. Ever since he was little, I’ve shared the superheroes I grew up loving, along with their stories, adventures, and what made each of them special. Watching that love become his own has been one of my favorite things to share with him. He’s found his own favorites, especially Spider-Man, and I love knowing that something I enjoyed as a kid has become something that now connects the two of us.
If Connor could have any superpowers, he would want Spider-Man’s super strength, Spider-Sense, and superhuman reflexes. He’d love being strong enough to lift heavy things, sense danger before it happens, climb walls, leap through the air, and swing through the city. He would use his powers to protect people, help anyone in trouble, and stop bad guys. For Connor, having superpowers would be awesome, but the best part would be getting the chance to be a real hero.
