He feels like Wolverine has really cool powers like healing and claws that cause him pain, but he still uses them to do good. He’s strong and has a dark past, but still chooses to be good and has a huge heart.
His father named him Daken, after Wolverine’s son. He was destined to be a superhero lover because his dad and I introduced him to Marvel from day one, his nursery theme was Marvel superheroes. When he was 4 years old, our family was blessed to meet Stan Lee at Wizard World Comic Con (New Orleans). My son cherishes this memory of meeting his real-life hero. He spends his time drawing and creating new superheroes nearly every day, and he aspires to be a comic creator when he grows up.
