Spider-Man is his favorite hero as David even has a blanket with his face imposed on a Spider-Man body on his bed as they are both smart boys and he identifies as a smart talented and capable boy who can do amazing things like Spider-Man does using his brain and his body to help others
David's stepfather is a huge comic book fan and has a whole room of comic books when we moved in together David gets to sleep in the comic book room that seriously could be a comic book store. One of our first dates before we moved in together with his new stepfather we went to free comic book day and he got his first comic books when he had just started learning to read it was incentive to get him to learn to read and be so smart prior to comic books it was difficult to get his interest to read
David always says that his superpower is being smart and being able to read and learn but of course if he could have superpowers to be able to fly or bend space and time I'm sure that those would be at the top of his list and he loves to climb things like mountains and buildings he loves to climb to the top of everything and he always likes to joke with me his mom saying am I giving you a heart attack mom LOL and he would laugh and of course he gives me a heart attack and of course he does
