Deonte has always had love for superhero’s. In his words, “Black Panther inspired me.” He loved him so much that when Black Panthers character died in real life, Deonte was absolutely crushed. He cried for days. And when Iron man died in End Game, we walked out of the theater comforting him as he again cried his little heart out. At least we were able to explain he did not die in real life. His favourite Super Hero right now is Spider Man, Miles Morales.
Deonte has always loved Super Hero’s. From owning nearly every action figure toy possible, to comic books, video games, puzzles, games, posters, lego, collectibles and all the movies. From 2 years old, old enough to sit in a seat at the movie theaters, we have always brought him to every single movie. Even now, he still plays with his “Super Hero Guys”. Right now he is currently saving up to buy the Avengers Lego Tower!
If Deonte could choose a super power, he said he would choose super speed! As a boy always on the go go go, that surly fits him! But he said he would also use it to visit family more who live far away. He would also want to have super strength and healing. As someone who has had broken a couple bones and has no fear, those two things would come in very handy! He says he would like to have those things so he can help others as well.
