Like most boys Derek’s love from superheroes comes from cartoons, movies, toys, games, and from family influences. Mom always had him in superhero costumes for Halloween, in superhero clothes/pajamas, and even had shoes with superheroes on them. Derek’s Grandfather, Father, and Uncle’s also have passed down comic books that were from their time and when Derek learned how to read he has read almost half of them if not all.
Derek would want to have the power of healing the sick because he wishes everyone had a long healthy life especially children.
