Dominic’s love of superheroes started with his dad. We watched the movies together, talked about our favorite heroes, and I taught him that being a superhero isn’t about how strong you are—it’s about how you keep fighting when things get hard. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t just teaching Dominic about superheroes. He was showing me what one really looks like.
