Dylan is an everyday superhero bc of choices he makes, how he cares about others, and his fundraising for the AHA Kids Heart Challenge.
Thank you for generously supporting Dylan in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Dylan admires Doctor Strange because he is brave, uses his abilities to protect others, and is willing to risk his own life to keep people safe. Dylan sees some of himself in Doctor Strange because he also cares about helping others and doing what he can to protect the people around him. He admires that Doctor Strange uses his strengths to make a difference.
Dylan’s love of superheroes grew from reading comic books and watching Marvel movies with his family. Sharing those stories together, seeing the world that Stan Lee created, sparked his imagination and made superheroes more than just characters to him. He enjoys the action and adventure, but he especially connects with heroes who use their abilities to help others, stand up for what is right, and protect the people around them, especially those who cannot protect themselves.
If Dylan could have a superpower, he would want the powers Doctor Strange has. He thinks being a master of the mystic arts would be amazing, especially being able to use magic, fly with the Cloak of Levitation, and use astral projection. He would love having these abilities to explore, help others, and protect people when they need him. His only question is whether he’d be counted absent if he astrally projected himself into his 5th grade homeroom.
