Elijah uses Marvel as a way to process/understand the world. Heroes give him the power to adapt and connect with non-neurodivergent peers.

Starlord is his favorite but he embraces the ones who are bad and then good. Nebula for example. He loves them all because they exhibit characteristics of real life. Not a single person is all good or bad. Superheroes have reinforced that and he applies that concept to real life.
Probably when he was in my womb and I was watching a lot of Marvel as “homework”.
He wants to use the Bifrost and plays on the playground pretending it’s Asgard. He creates obscure costumes at home and always aspires to being Thor. He has a strong sense of justice and is forgiving of those who don’t. Being 7, he had taught me more about Marvel than I ever cared to know. This boy will pursue space, theater, or both.
