He leaves every place and every person a little better than he found them. That is what makes him my everyday superhero. ♥️
Thank you for generously supporting Elijah in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Elijah’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man because underneath the mask, he’s just a regular kid who chooses to help people. I think he sees a little of himself in that. He has such a big heart and is always looking out for others, especially someone who is sad, hurt, or left out. To Eli, being a hero isn’t about being the strongest, it’s about always choosing to help someone when you can.
Elijah’s love of superheroes started with his daddy before he was even born. His dad has always been an avid Marvel and DC collector, with everything from comic books to action figures and statues. He basically grew up surrounded by superheroes! What started as something his dad loved quickly became something they could love together, and now superheroes have been a part of his world for as long as he can remember.
If Elijah could choose any superpower, it would definitely be super speed or flying! This boy has been in constant motion since the day he learned how to move. He runs, climbs, jumps, explores, and somehow seems to have an endless supply of energy. Super speed would basically just be giving him the superhero version of the powers he already thinks he has. And flying? That would just mean one less reason for his feet to ever touch the ground.
