Who is Emily's favorite superhero and why do they admire them?

Emily loves Spider-Man because, when he’s not in action or wearing his suit, he’s just a regular young person trying to navigate everyday life. Like Emily, he can sometimes feel awkward, unsure of himself, or like there’s nothing particularly extraordinary about him. But when the mask goes on, he discovers the strength, courage, and determination within himself to face challenges and overcome obstacles. Emily connects with that idea—that you don't have to look strong to be strong.

Where did Emily's love of superheroes come from?

Emily’s love of superheroes began from watching superhero movies and feeling inspired by their courage and willingness to help people in need. She connected with the idea that being a hero is about using your strengths to make a positive difference in someone else’s life. Emily tries to carry that same spirit into her everyday life at school by being kind, compassionate, and helpful to anyone who may need a helping hand, a little encouragement, or simply a kind word.

What superpower would Emily want and why?

Emily would choose super strength as her superpower. Having been small her entire life, she loves the idea that people might underestimate her because of her size, only to discover that she has the incredible strength of a superhero. We think super strength suits Emily perfectly because, despite being small in stature for her age, she has shown us just how strong she is.
