Erik loves that he can climb, swing, move fast, and go wherever he wants. Erik has always experienced the world through movement and adventure, so a superhero who can basically ignore the rules of gravity feels pretty perfect for him. Plus, Spider-Man is different, a little unconventional, and still completely himself.
Erik has always loved characters who are larger than life. Because he’s nonverbal, he connects with characters in his own way through what they do, how they move, their sounds, colors, and adventures. Superheroes make sense in Erik’s world: you don’t have to say much to be brave, strong, funny, or make an impact. Sometimes the coolest hero in the room doesn’t need a speech.
Teleportation, without a doubt. Erik is an explorer and if there is somewhere interesting to go, he wants to get there immediately. 😂 He’d teleport to the water, Target, somewhere new to explore, and probably back again before the rest of us figured out where he went. For Erik, freedom to explore the world on his own terms would be the ultimate superpower.
