Thor has always been my favorite superhero. His command of lightning and thunder is what first caught my attention, but his courage is what made me a fan. Thor has the power to be unstoppable, yet he chooses to use that strength to stand between danger and the people who need protecting. To me, that’s what makes him a hero. His greatest strength isn’t the thunder he creates. It’s what he chooses to stand for.
My love of superheroes started when I was little, watching their movies and imagining what it would feel like to have incredible powers. As I got older, I realized what makes them heroes isn’t their strength, speed, or extraordinary abilities. It’s what they choose to do with those powers. Superheroes taught me that courage means standing up for others, doing what’s right, and realizing you don’t need superpowers to make a difference.
I would want the power to bring inanimate objects to life and guide them to do good. Imagine rescue equipment racing into danger on its own, tools building homes for families in need, or machines cleaning oceans and forests. I could turn ordinary objects into an army of helpers, ready whenever someone needed them. My greatest power wouldn’t just be bringing things to life. It would be giving ordinary things an extraordinary purpose.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
