Sign Up for FreeRight now, it’s Spider-Man. He had just watched the latest movie, but what stayed with him wasn’t the web-slinging. It was Spider-Man and Ned’s friendship. He loved that they could be goofy, honest and completely themselves around each other, while still showing up when things got hard. That’s probably why Spider-Man clicked with him: underneath the powers, he still feels like a regular kid trying to do the right thing.
Honestly, he was never the kid collecting superhero figures or memorizing every character. He mostly watched the movies because his brothers did. He just gets invested into the story especially the parts where the heroes struggle, mess up, get scared and still find a way forward. I think that’s what he connects with most. Not being invincible, but finding courage when things aren’t easy. After every movie he will say something about how he'll do it differently.
He won’t really tell us what superpower he would choose. But if you watch him, he’s always trying to run faster or show us how strong he is, so we’re pretty sure it would be super speed or super strength. Probably both if he was allowed to pick two. When we are out with his brother, he is usually the one leading him. When we are in a public place and his brother wants to go somewhere he isnt allowed to, he uses his speed to ran after him and he exert a lot of effort keeping him from getting hurt
