Gannon Hedrick really admires Peter Parker/Spider-Man. I think Gannon enjoys that Peter Parker/Spider-Man can still have light hearted jokes and friends that care about him as Peter and not just the superhero. I believe Gannon also admires that Spider-Man is also extremely bright and innovative. Gannon also admires Miles/Spider verse. I think it is easier to admire them because they are still in school and going through similar hardships even while being 'Super'.
Gannon began relating to superheroes as a toddler. I would purchase superhero costumes at thrift stores and he had a box of superheroes to dress up as. He has always enjoyed dressing up and imaginative play. I think it gave him an escape from the things that brought him down in 'real life'. He loves to help others as well.
Gannon has always told me he would love to be fast and able to fly. I think the idea of being able to go anywhere at any moment appeals to him. He always asks me what superpowers I would want, so it is definitely a conversation topic we have often had. Gannon has big dreams and would love to be able to help others.
