Their favourite superhero is Spiderman! He admires them for the adversity they’ve had to overcome in their life much like my sons own life and he is always willing to help others and leads with kindness.
My son’s love of superheroes really started at home, watching Marvel movies together in between hospital visits, appointments, and all the other things that came with our everyday life. Those movies became so much more than just entertainment for us. They gave us something fun to look forward to, a way to escape for a little while, and a way to foster conversations about the characters, their stories, the choices they made, and what we loved about each movie.
If my son could choose any superpower, he would choose the ability to fly so he could travel the world. His dream isn’t just about having a superpower it’s about adventure, seeing new places, and experiencing everything the world has to offer. For someone who has spent so much time going to appointments and navigating challenges, his dream is about a world where he can simply fly wherever he wants
