His namesake: Dick Grayson. He especially likes the Robin era, which to him is the cartoons. My son is non-verbal Autistic, but can speak with a communication device. He always reminds me “He can be Batman too”
I’ve shared them with him since birth. We read the DC Kids books at bedtime, and he’s always had a Robin stuffed animal. He’s had the same stuffed Batman go into all 23 procedures he’s had, they sterilize him and he watches over Grayson while he’s asleep.
He reports he would want to “never be told no”. My son is also ADHD and a little ball of fire with dirt on it, so he hears “no”, “slow down”, and “we don’t throw” -or- “dude, absolutely not” a lot.
