Izzy’s superpower is his heart. He’s kind, compassionate, and always ready to help, care for others, and make someone smile.

Izzy’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man, especially Miles Morales. He loves that Spider-Man has a secret identity, is incredibly athletic, and can jump, climb walls, and move in ways that make him feel like a real superhero. As a Dominican kid, Izzy also loves seeing a superhero who shares his Caribbean culture. But what he admires most is Spider-Man’s heart—he uses his powers to help people. That’s Izzy, too: sweet, kind, and always looking for a way to help others.
Izzy’s love of superheroes started with his mom’s love of movies, action, and superhero adventures. With a birthday on October 30th, he’s had superhero-themed birthday parties since he was little and has explored heroes from Marvel and DC. But Spider-Man is his true love. He has so many costumes that I’ve had to retire them when he outgrew them! These days, he’ll put on his full Miles Morales costume—even in 90-degree weather—and ride his bike around the neighborhood showing off for his friends.
Izzy would want Spider-Man’s powers, especially the ability to climb walls, jump, and move with superhuman agility. He loves parkour, pull-ups, skateboarding, biking, and anything that lets him move fast and challenge himself. At home, he’s been known to climb the walls because, in his mind, he IS Spider-Man! But he wouldn’t use those powers just for fun. He’d want to help people, protect his family, and make sure others feel safe just like his favorite superhero.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
