Jacob’s favorite superhero is Deadpool. He admires Deadpool because he’s super funny and also uses his humor as a coping mechanism. Jacob and Deadpool share that in common, so he is very relatable, as well as sharing the cancer diagnosis.
Jacob’s love of superheroes came from his dad, who introduced him to Marvel characters at an early age. Jacob dressed up as multiple superheroes for Halloween over the years and has watched the original Spiderverse movie more times than he can count. Jacob loves how superheroes fight against the bad guys, especially watching the action scenes and seeing all of the different powers be used.
Our Super Kid would want the power to pause or unpause time at will. He wants this power so he can do multiple things at once, such as pausing his school day so he can go save people in need.
