He admires Sonic’s speed most of all, although if you ask him, he’ll confidently tell you that he is actually faster than Sonic the Hedgehog!
His love of heroes grew through family movie nights and the characters he connected with along the way. We watched the Sonic movies together as a family, and Sonic quickly became a favourite. He has requested to dress as Sonic for Halloween, recently had his face painted like him, and proudly wears his favourite Sonic shirt. With a mom who is a nurse and a dad who is a volunteer firefighter, he also gets to see that being a hero can mean helping others in real life, too.
If he could choose his own powers, he’d combine super speed with the power to control water. He’d race around as fast as the Flash, then summon and control water whenever he needed it. In his words, he wants to be “super fast” AND have “water powers”, because apparently one superpower just isn’t enough!
