Jaxon loves Spider-Man because he sees a hero who is brave without having to be fearless. Spider-Man is funny, kind, loyal, and keeps getting back up when life knocks him down. That reminds me so much of Jaxon. His heart is huge, he forgives easily, and even when things are difficult, he keeps smiling and moving forward.
Jaxon’s love of superheroes started when he was just a baby. On nights he couldn’t sleep, we would snuggle up and quietly watch superhero shows together so we wouldn’t wake anyone else. It became our special little tradition. As he grew, so did his love for superheroes; from action figures and make-believe adventures to finally being old enough to watch the movies. What began as sleepy cuddles with Mom became a special part of his childhood.
Jaxon’s superpower would be flying. He has such a big imagination and adventurous spirit, I can picture him soaring through the sky, looking for someone who needs help. He’d fly wherever he was needed, make people smile, and remind them not to give up. For Jaxon, flying wouldn’t just be about going high—it would be about using his freedom to help others.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
