Jaxtyn’s superpower isn’t flying or climbing walls,it’s his huge heart, his kindness, and the way he makes everyone around him smile 🕷️❤️
Thank you for generously supporting Jaxtyn in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Spider-Man is Jaxtyn’s favorite because he shows him that being a hero isn’t about being the strongest or having the coolest powers—it’s about having the biggest heart. At 9 years old, Jaxtyn loves the webs, adventures, and excitement, but he also sees a hero who never gives up, helps others, and stands up for what’s right. Spider-Man inspires Jaxtyn to be brave, kind, and believe that even an ordinary kid can do extraordinary things. Jaxtyn is learning that courage means getting back up
Jaxtyn’s love for superheroes started with the excitement—the costumes, powers, action, and adventures—but I think it grew into something much more meaningful. Superheroes show him that being different can be a strength, that being scared doesn’t mean you aren’t brave, and that helping someone can make you a hero.
If Jaxtyn could have any superpower, he’d choose the power to protect the people he loves. He’d want to be there whenever someone needed him, just like the superheroes he looks up to. He’d use his strength to keep people safe, but his heart would be what truly made him a hero. Jaxtyn may dream about wearing a cape and saving the day, but I hope he always remembers that you don’t need a costume or superpowers to protect, care for, and stand up for the people you love
