Deadpool is his favorite superhero because he has amazing regeneration powers that let him heal quickly when he gets hurt. He also likes his personality because he is funny, confident, and doesn’t take himself too seriously. Even though he can be a little crazy, he still cares about the people around him and is always willing to help when it matters.
His love of superheroes came from me, his dad. I've always loved superheroes as a kid. We made it a continued tradition to see the movies the night they premiere with a matching shirt of some kind. When he was smaller i taught him to look at his condition in a positive light. I compared him to flash because of how quick he could maneuver in his wheelchair. Most recently he’s started joining me at our denver comic book expo and i think that will be our new tradition.
The super power he would want is regeneration like Deadpool and heightened senses like Spider-man. He picked regeneration and heightened senses because they would work together. His heightened senses would help him notice danger before it happens, and his regeneration would allow him to recover if he did get hurt. He could use both powers to protect himself and help other people.
