Spider-Man because of his ability to persevere. Even when situations in life got tough, Peter Parker remembered the words of his late uncle, “with great power comes great responsibility.” When one thinks about a superhero, you think about a person who puts their life on the line to save others. It’s a life principle that can be found in the Bible. Jesus taught that we should love others and that there is no greater love than someone who lays down his life for his friends (John 15:12-13).
His interest in superheroes started from early on when he first watched Spider-Man at 3 years old. Through the years, he has watched different versions of the Spider-Man story. In addition to Spider-man, he likes Superman.
My super kid’s superpower of choice would be the ability to freeze time. Realizing that time is precious and ever fleeting, my son would freeze time to save a person‘s life or even to give that person an extra moment to spend with a loved one. So many things can be accomplished with the time we’re given, but with just a little more, we could turn a moment of despair into a second chance.
