My little brother has Down syndrome, and he inspires our family every day with his big heart, joyful personality, and determination. He admires Spider-Man because, just like Spider-Man, he believes that helping others, being kind, and never giving up are what make someone a true hero.
His love of superheroes began with his dad, who bought him his very first superhero toy. From that moment, superheroes became something very special to him. His dad recently passed away, so superheroes now hold an even deeper meaning in his heart. They remind him of the love, joy, and special memories he shared with his dad. What started as a simple superhero toy became a lasting love that continues to bring him happiness and make him feel connected to his dad.
If he could have any superpower, he would want the power to heal people and make them happy. He has such a kind and loving heart, and he loves seeing the people around him smile. After losing his dad, I think he would especially love having the power to take away sadness and bring comfort to people who are hurting. To him, being a superhero wouldn’t be about being the strongest—it would be about using his power to help others and spread happiness wherever he goes.
