Learn MoreHis favorite superhero is Spider-Man because he loves how he uses his abilities to help others and protect people, without seeking attention or recognition. He admires that Spider-Man proves you don’t have to be the strongest person to make a difference. Jonathan tries to live by that same idea, using his kindness, manners, and caring heart to make someone’s day better.
His love of superheroes started with learning that being a hero isn’t about having powers or wearing a cape. We taught him that a real hero is kind, respectful, brave, and always willing to help. As he grew, he started seeing those qualities in his favorite superheroes and finding little ways to be a hero himself.
Jonathan would choose the power to heal. He would use it to help people who are hurt or sick and make them feel better. He often asks about his grandmother, who passed away from cancer, and wishes he could have helped her. To him, having a superpower would be about helping others, not being the strongest or getting attention.
