Other favorite superhero of mine are my doggie who is like my playful brother, horses that I ride give me therapeutic energy, my therapists who teach me functional communicate with AAC/spelling & help regulate my body to function daily life and my sunshine club members engage in cooking, arts and crafts activities and karaoke.
Julian is a social butterfly despite being nonverbal. He’s very observant of life!! He considers everyone a superhero of some sort because he has many daily challenges in his daily routine. He works extra hard and gives more effort to do task that are simple to others. He’s been in therapy majority of his life in order to improve his quality of life. He truly is a superhero kid!!
Superpower he wants is to talk with his own voice one day!! Because right now he rely on AAC talker/spelling device to communicate beyond grateful for those forms of communication but to use his own voice would be the ultimate dream and to TELEPORT (fast/simple/fun like him) because car rides are so long and it’s too scary to fly in airplanes (never flown) and TELEPATHY (to connect with others beyond)!! :)
