Kai is an everyday hero — a brave military child who starts over with courage, leads with kindness, and is his little brother’s biggest hero
Thank you for generously supporting Kai in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
My favorite superhero is Spider-Man. I admire him because, during the day, he is just a normal school kid who enjoys learning and likes maths, but he also has a secret life as a superhero who helps people and protects his friends. I think it’s amazing that he uses his powers to do good and always tries to help others. I also love Spider-Man’s costume because red is my favorite colour, so his suit makes him even cooler!
My love of superheroes started because my mum and dad are big Marvel fans, and I love watching the movies with them. I enjoy seeing all the amazing things superheroes can do, like flying, climbing walls, doing incredible flips, and using their powers to help people. I think it’s exciting how they are brave, kind, and always try to do the right thing. Watching Marvel with my family has made me love superheroes and dream about being brave and helping others just like they do.
If I could have any superpower, I would choose to shoot webs like Spider-Man. Swinging from buildings and flying through the city would be so much fun and would make me feel like a real superhero. I could use my webs to help people and get to places quickly. I also think it would be really funny to web-shoot my little brother when we are playing together!
