Spider-Man is Kai’s favorite superhero because of his various spider abilities. Specifically, Miles Morales. Upon first glimpse, Kai was hooked! “He’s like me, mommy!” as he pointed to Miles on the TV in pure awe.
My family and I introduced superheroes to Kai very early in his babyhood. Not only do they represent strength, courage, perseverance, and hope… they spark imagination and create a safe space for individuality.
