Her favorite superhero is Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6. She loves that her superpower comes from something she has always found so fascinating—science. She takes the elements and brings them to life, creating incredible chemical reactions on the battlefield. To me, she’s a reminder that being smart, creative, and curious can be a superpower too. She loves that she proves you don’t have to be the strongest person in the room to make a difference.
Her love for superheroes started with me her dad. From watching movies together to taking her to comic con to meet the actors, we never just shared our love for superheroes—we helped each other create some of our favorite memories. Looking back, I realize it was never really about the movies or the characters; it was about the time we spent together and the memories she gave me that we’ll always cherish.
My super kid would choose telekinesis. The ability to control and move objects with their mind would give them a powerful advantage on the battlefield, allowing them to create distance, protect others, and stay one step ahead. But beyond the strength of the power itself, I think telekinesis represents something deeper—the ability to influence a situation without having to rely on physical strength. It would give them confidence, control, and the power to make a difference when it matters most.
