Keegan is our everyday superhero: kind, hardworking, driven & mature beyond his 17 years. And as a HUGE comic collector, this is his dream!
Thank you for generously supporting Keegan in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Spider-Man. Keegan admires that even when life knocks Peter Parker down, he keeps going. He isn’t perfect or fearless—he faces loss, responsibility, and setbacks but still chooses to help others. Keegan relates to that resilience and the idea that your character is defined by what you do when things get hard.
Keegan’s love of superheroes started when he was young and grew into a genuine passion for comics. Over the years, he has built a huge comic book collection and loves the stories behind characters like Spider-Man, the X-Men, and Conan the Barbarian. For him, it’s more than collecting—he loves characters who overcome adversity, fight for what they believe in, and keep pushing forward.
Keegan would probably choose Wolverine’s healing ability. He’s an athlete who has experienced injuries and knows how frustrating it can be when your body keeps you from doing what you love. Being able to heal quickly would mean no injury could keep him down for long—and he could always get back up, keep working, and keep moving forward.
