Keith is an everyday superhero because he turns his imagination into art, creates his own characters, and never stops chasing his dreams.
Thank you for generously supporting Keith in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Keith admires Spider-Man because he never gives up when something needs to be fixed. He keeps pushing until the job is done and always tries to do what is right, even when it is difficult. Keith also loves that Spider-Man is just a regular person underneath the mask. He goes to school, has a normal life, faces everyday challenges, and still finds a way to help others. Keith sees that as something special being a hero doesn’t mean being perfect or having superpowers; it means choosing to do good
Keith’s love of superheroes started with Spider-Man, who has been a huge part of his life for the past six years. What began as a love for the character grew into a love for creating. Keith loves drawing, making comics, and inventing his own characters, including Carrpy. Superheroes showed him that ordinary people can do extraordinary things, and inspired him to use his own superpower his imagination to create worlds of his own.
Keith would choose the power to bring anything he draws to life. His imagination is always creating new characters, stories, and worlds, and he would love nothing more than to see them become real. He could bring his own comic character, Carrpy, to life and use his creations to make people laugh, feel inspired, and see the world through his imagination. For Keith, the greatest superpower would be turning an idea in his head into something the whole world could experience.
