Kevin is always there to help family, friends, and people around him. He works hard, stays kind, and tries to make a difference
Thank you for generously supporting Kevin in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Kevin’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man because he feels real. Peter Parker is just a regular kid dealing with school, family, mistakes, and pressure, but he still chooses to help people. Kevin admires that Spider-Man keeps going even when life gets hard. To him, being a hero is not about being perfect or having powers, it’s about doing the right thing and using what you have to help others.
Kevin’s love for superheroes really came from Spider-Man. At first he loved the powers, the suit, and all the action, but as he got older he understood the story more. Peter Parker makes mistakes, loses people, struggles, and still keeps trying to do the right thing. That inspired Kevin because it showed him that heroes can be regular people too, and that even when life gets hard, you can still choose to be kind, keep going, and make a difference.
If Kevin could have any superpower, he would want Spider-Man’s powers. Swinging through the city and climbing walls would be amazing, but what he would love most is being able to help people when they are scared or in danger. He would want to protect others, stand up for people who need it, and make his community feel safer. For him, having a power would not just be something cool, it would mean having a responsibility to use it for something good.
