Laila is my everyday superhero! Her courage, kindness, and strength inspire me daily. She proves you donβt need a cape to be extraordinary.
Thank you for generously supporting Laila in this yearβs competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Her favorite superhero is Raven because she is strong, brave, and different in a really special way. She admires her because even though she has powerful emotions and faces difficult challenges, she learns to control her powers and keeps going. Raven shows Laila that it’s okay to be different, to be yourself, and to be strong on the inside. She reminds her that you don’t have to be loud to be powerful. π
My love of superheroes started from watching superhero shows and movies with my dad who is also a voice actor. I became fascinated by their powers, their stories, and how they use their strength to help others. Over time, superheroes became more than just characters to me…they became examples of courage, kindness, and believing in yourself. Raven especially showed me that being different can be one of your greatest strengths. π
If I could have any superpower, I would want to teleport! I could go anywhere really fast and visit all the cool places I want to see. But mostly, I’d love to teleport to my family whenever I miss them, even if they were really far away. And if someone I love needed me, I could be there in a POOF!! ππ
