Logan’s favorite superhero has always been Spider-Man. He admires Spider-Man for standing up for the little guys, doing what’s right, and never turning a blind eye to someone in need. After his transplant, one of Logan’s first questions when he woke up was if he was going to be able to see the new Spider-Man movie. Even after everything, Spider-Man was still on his mind.
Logan’s love for superheroes was earned honestly. I convinced his mother, my wife, to name our son Logan at birth. She didn’t know it was because of Wolverine until the movie “Logan” premiered in 2017 Our Logan was 5yrs old already). I have always loved Marvel comics since I was a kid. I shared my love for the comics, cartoons, movies, memorabilia and action figures with him. We bonded as a family through superheroes and still continue that tradition today.
Logan has always said he’d choose teleportation so he could go anywhere in the world in an instant to help someone in need. After everything he has faced in life at such a young age, that answer feels even more meaningful; he truly wants to use his strength to help others.
