He’s an everyday superhero because he shows up, keeps going when things are hard and stands up for his friends and family! He’s amazing!!!
Thank you for generously supporting Lucas in this year’s competition. Your participation made a huge impact for The Stan Lee Foundation and their mission to promote literacy and the narrative arts.
Spider-Man is Luke’s favorite. He’s relatable. Peter Parker isn’t naturally powerful he’s a regular person who happens to have abilities. He struggles but keeps going. Even when things go badly, he gets back up. “With great power comes great responsibility” gives him a clear sense of what he should do, even when doing the right thing costs him. And he always helps his friends!!!
My mom! My mom loves to watch superhero movies with me and she loves to read and has encouraged me and my sister and brother in our love of reading!!! She also encourages us to do the right thing even when it’s hard! Her favorite hero is probably Deadpool lol We’re all different my favorite comic book characters are venom or dr strange. I read all kind of books like the Percy Jackson series and Harry Potter I love a good hero story!!! I also enjoy D&D and anime!
I think the superpower he’d want most would be teleportation. He would love being able to instantly go anywhere he wants without having to worry about traffic, long flights, or distance. He could visit the people he cares about whenever he wanted, explore different places, and get out of stressful situations in seconds. It would be fun, but it would also make life a lot easier. He loves to see new things and travel.
