Her autism doesn’t define her, it reveals her superpowers: a heart that finds magic in darkness, creates beauty, and chooses love.

While he may not be a conventional superhero, Kensi’s favorite is Super Mario. This is because he is just a normal guy who gets to live in an amazing fantasy world, similarly to her as an autistic kiddo who gets to live in her own world built by her amazing beautiful brain.
Kensi’s love of superheroes comes singularly from her love of her Uncle who is a huge comic book/ video game nerd. When mommy needed a break, Uncle would rock her to sleep watching Justice League as a baby, and she started to develop language skills by being able to name the characters in the video game Injustice with while playing with him. She loved to quote their battle cries after victory like Shazam’s “I like being a hero.”
Though Kensi may not be able to always verbalize it, she feels what other people feel deeply and is always concerned for others. She hates to see anyone upset. Kensi is a natural empath. she is able to comfort people when they are scared, calm them when they are nervous, or use her presence alone to make the world a less scary place.
