Millie's Father grew up reading comic books and passed on that enthusiasm for Superhero stories to her (and her Mother). Superheroes help people and keep the world safe.
Millie would want to have the superpower of teleportation. Getting places super quickly would be incredibly useful. Although flying, invisibility, telepathy and telekinesis would be really cool, teleportation is the most logical choice. That way, she could spend more time at the places she's trying to get to, helping others.
