Nate loves Spiderman - all of them but their favorites are Gwen and Miles Morales. They like Spiderman because he always battles the bad guys but never hurts or kills them. According to Nate, spiderman also has determination and overcomes personal challenges. The Spider men and women are also funny:-)
Nate first became interested in super heroes when their mom read them Marvel 5 minute Bedtime stories when they were very little. They particularly like comics, graphic novels and animated super hero movies because they love and appreciate the artistry. Nate enjoys drawing and has been learning how to make their own digital animations and stop motion movies along with developing their own drawing style with pencil and paper.
Nate would like the power of transformation. They said because they can turn into anything they can imagine and therefore temporarily have any super power they want. For example, if they transform into a bird or Superman, they could fly. If they transform into Spiderman they can climb walls, etc.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Super Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
