Learn MoreI like Spiderman because he’s a normal kid with powers but still deals with teenage challenges like school, bullies, and messing up. He doesn’t become perfect—he still struggles while saving the city, and keeps showing up even when it sucks. I don’t think Spiderman saves the city for fame or money, he does it for modeling integrity and determination, all while inspiring others to do the same.
My love for superheroes mainly came from my early childhood memories. I remember watching X-Men with my dad when I was little and playing superheroes with him and pretending to beat him up with my laser vision and manipulating his mind like Professor X ( I always won).
I would want telekinesis or shapeshifting. As a kid, watching these shows, I used to fantasize about having these powers and what it would be like to have them. I even remember praying to God about one day having them, and to this day they are still my favorite superpowers.
