Learn MoreNova’s favorite superhero is Lunella Lafayette, aka Moon Girl! She admires that Lunella always fights for what’s right and isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in. Nova also loves that Lunella takes school, science, and her interests seriously—showing that being smart, curious, and passionate can be superpowers too!
Nova’s love of superheroes has always felt pretty natural for her. She’s named after a supernova, so we’ve always joked that she was destined for something a little extraordinary. Her parents have been Marvel fans for as long as she can remember, and we’ve always loved sharing that with her. From the beginning, we saw how special she was, and watching her grow into her own little superhero has been one of our favorite things.
If Nova could have any superpower, she’d want the power to create anything she can imagine! She’d use it to build schools, playgrounds, and safe spaces where kids can learn, play, and feel like they belong. And, of course, she’d still use her powers for some silly things too—because being a superhero should be fun!
